1 Rioja Arjona Tempranillo (Spain) 19.00
Very appealing wine, quality stylish unoaked Rioja.

2 Ginestet St. Emilion (France) 19.50
Deep garnet with a rich intense nose that leads into well rounded,
dark berry fruits and subtle, well integrated tannins.
3 Fleurie Lorons et Fils (Burgundy) 24.00
Fine cherry and strawberry fruited example of the most famous "cru"
of Beaujolais. A complex and fitting partner to richly flavoured
chicken or game-foul dishes.
4. Klippenkop Pinotage (South Africa) 16.50
Classic example of Pinotage with deep colour and characteristic
black fruit, tar and liquorice flavours. Notes of ripe strawberry,
cherry and banana with a spicy edge overlying an attractive vanilla
seam from the gentle oak aging. Smooth, easy drinking style.
5 Montepulciano D’ Abruzzo Caleo (Italy) 16.50
Deep ruby red color with violet reflections. Intense aroma of dried fruits
and flowers. Savory black cherry fruit with velvety, soft tannins and a
good fruit acid balance.
6 Aldridge Estate Shiraz Cabernet (Australia) 16.00
Showing ripe berry fruit with sweet oak aromas on the nose. Ripe plum and
raspberry fruit showing great depth and length of flavour. Lightly toasted
French Oak and soft tannins finish the long palate.
7 Sol de Mayo Malbec (Argentina) 16.50
Quite robust with ripe black plums and violets on the nose with a
well balanced palate of juicy dark fruit and herbal notes.
Great Argentinian wine to drink on its own or with chilli or chargrilled foods.
8 Santa Digna Carmenere Reserve (Chile) 20.00
A beautiful cherry colour with fine aromas (blackberries, cassis), and
balsamic notes (eucalyptus) that culminate in a delicious hint of mandarin. The
palate is elegant, with sweet and fruity tannins that deliver nuances of leather
and spices (liquorice, black pepper, clove). Its ageing in French oak has given
it a pleasant toasty and vanilla backdrop.
9 Simon Hackett Shiraz (Australia) 25.50
On the nose, dark, stably-earth aromas are accented by a ribbon of eucalyptus
that follows through on the palate. Fruit flavors are red, but all its accents are
dark: think black cured olives and earth. Tealike tannins fade though the finish.
White Wine Selection
10 Sancerre Domaine Daulny (Louire) 26.00
Grapes from all of the Daulny vines, as well as the other sites, go into
Daulny's normal cuvée of Sancerre, which is made and aged entirely in
stainless steel tanks without malolactic fermentation in order to conserve the
fresh, bright fruit of the Sauvignon Blanc grape. This has a bright nose of
white-to-pink grapefruit, white flowers, and pronounced minerality from the
soils. Crisp, refreshing and clean!
11 Domaine du Bosc Viognier (France) 16.50
Full-bodied, fragrant and rich with a flash of apricot and peach a
nd a good finish. Perfect on its own or with shellfish.
12 Vouvray Ackerman 15.50
Medium sweet, fresh, clean and fragrant with white flower aromas
and a crisp, refreshing palate.
13 Riesling Kabinett Schmitt Sohne (Germany) 16.00
Medium bodied Riesling has peach and fine apple aromas, a
firm and fruity palate, and crisp acidity that results in a well
balanced, easy to drink wine. Perfect as an aperitif or to complement
a wide array of foods from pork and ham to fish and poultry.
14 Freedom Cross Chenin Blanc (South Africa) 15.50
A fruity, crisp Chenin Blanc from South Africa's Western Cape,
this 2010 vintage from Freedom Cross is a great accompaniment for
light fish and vegetarian dishes.
15 Linot Grigio Bottega Vinai (Italy) 17.50
Concentrated fruit on the nose and the palate. The taste has a
lovely mineral character with good length and structure.

Golden yellow with amber tones, this sumptuous wine displays ripe
papaya, peach, spice and honeyed aromas. The palate is light, fresh and
